Growing the Workforce Introduction

It is well-known that competency in High Resolution Anoscopy (HRA) involves a long learning curve to attain the necessary procedural techniques. Likewise, teaching and training HRA providers involve a specialized skill set. Educators in the field have learned to appreciate the subtleties of teaching HRA and related procedures that help new providers gain these necessary skills. This seminar series is designed to provide experienced HRA providers with the methodology to train others in all procedures related to screening, diagnosing and treatment of HPV-associated anal canal disease. With the release of screening guidelines for anal cancer prevention, there is an immediate increased need for HRA and treatment of HPV-associated diseases. Experienced clinicians are in demand to train the next generation of HRA providers.

The seminar will open with an in-person session preceding the Scientific Meeting on June 6, 2025 from 9am-11am.
